Presentation | High performance EEL line beam module based on GS packaging for LiDAR applications

1 October 2024, 4:45pm - 7:00pm(Local Time), Hao Zhang, R&D manager at Focuslight will deliver a presentation at 2024 IEEE 29th International Semiconductor Laser Conference (ISLC) on the topic of “High performance EEL line beam module based on GS packaging for LiDAR applications”.


Summary


An EEL based line beam module packaged with GS was developed. Compared to COB packaging, it has 25% more peak power and 10.4°C lower junction temperature. It performs well optically due to less smile effect and vertical PCB light emission.


Speaker



Hao Zhang, the R&D manager for the development of LiDAR transmitter module at Focuslight. His main research areas include VCSEL, LiDAR transmitter modules, and laser scanning devices, such as MEMS and metalenses.
